In order to provide high-quality services to clients, knowledge of accounting and auditing standards at the modern level is very important and necessary for any activity, especially if we take into account the current and future changes in this field.

 

Buffy offers its individual and corporate members access to information and business networking opportunities, as well as the largest resource for professional development in international accounting and auditing standards. Buffy's goal is to provide its members with versatile services and benefits to improve whatever they do.

 

Membership Benefits:

Members will acquire the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary for their success and which will allow them to advance in other large-scale and similar professional trainings and programs. All programs with appropriate thematic load are led by a professional presenter and have a convenient registration form.

All technical and professional news, publications, research, updates and management related to accounting and auditing are available to members. Thus, the members will always be informed about the news that will enable them to overcome the challenges related to their activities.

Corporate members will participate in various programs and discussions related to quality management, which is essential to remain competitive in today's business environment. These programs will help them to introduce and control quality management in their activities, which will help to overcome the challenges of the modern market.

Members are given the opportunity to benefit from trainings, instructions and consultations related to the issues related to their activities.

Members are given the opportunity to receive an international professional certificate from the Federation as evidence of increasing theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and auditing.

Buffy represents the interests of its members in business, government and legislative structures, educational institutions and the community. Through its relations and connections with society and the state, as well as cooperation with other bodies, Buff is an influential supporter of its members. Thus, its members will always be known and respected in the business environment and outside it.

Buffy is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)
Real Member and Buff Members are implicitly (indirectly) considered members of (IFAC).

Members will be able to build their reputation and leadership status in accounting and auditing based on existing technical experience and skills.

Buff members will always have a leadership role in accounting and auditing. They are distinguished from their competitors by high professional standards, best technical education and business habits. To be a Buffy member is to stand above others.

Professional recognition and reputation

Members will actively participate in the process of developing and perfecting BAF's accounting and auditing standards. Thus, they will always be informed about the changes in this field.

Buff cooperates with the International Federation of Accountants, and therefore its members have the opportunity to participate in the review and development of the IAS and ISA drafts.

Euros have the opportunity to attend seminars, briefings, conferences, make business contacts, interact with other members and also non-members.

Membership of natural persons

A candidate for membership must complete and submit an application and questionnaire to the Buff Membership Committee (see the Membership Bylaws for other requirements).

A candidate for membership must fill out and submit to the Buff membership committee an application and a questionnaire (for other requirements, see the membership regulations)

Membership fees

Amount of membership fee

All Buff members undertake to pay an annual membership fee.

Payment of membership fee is one of the prerequisites for maintaining membership.

The following amounts of annual membership fees have been established by the Board of Buff:

 

  • Joining BAF/initial registration in the program - 20 GEL;

  • Annual membership fee for associate (non-candidate) members - 24 (2 L. per month) GEL;

  • Annual membership fee for associate/certification candidate members - 84 (7 L. per month) GEL;

  • Annual membership fee for professional accountants/non-auditors for real members - 84 (7 L. per month) GEL;

  • Annual membership fee for professional accountants/auditors - 144 (12 L. per month) GEL

In case of non-payment of membership fee for one year, the membership will be suspended.

 

Corporate membership fee

for income up to 500,000 GEL - 1000 GEL (fixed rate) for all companies, regardless of income;

Above 500,000 GEL, 1,000 GEL plus 0.15% of the amount over 500,000 GEL, but not more than 12,000 GEL.

 

The company's income means the income received from audit activities (audit of financial statements + other audit activities), which will be taken from the Saras website.
